The short version: Reply Hotter writes suggested replies. You decide what to send, and
you are responsible for sending it. You must be 18 or older, you must have the right to upload the
screenshots you upload, and you can't use this to harass anybody. The long version is below, and it
is the version that counts.
1.The agreement
Reply Hotter ("Reply Hotter", "the Service") is operated by Clarity Decoded
("Clarity Decoded", "we", "us", "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a binding
agreement between you and Clarity Decoded covering your use of replyhotter.com and everything
we offer through it.
By creating an account, uploading a screenshot, buying a plan or otherwise using the Service,
you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is part of this
agreement. If you do not agree, don't use the Service.
2.Who can use Reply Hotter
You must be at least 18 years old to use Reply Hotter. The Service is built
around adult romantic and sexual conversation, including a heat level that is explicitly
flirtatious, and it is not intended for minors under any circumstance.
By using the Service you represent and warrant that:
- you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into this agreement;
- every person appearing in, or discussed in, any screenshot you upload is also an adult;
- you are not barred from using the Service under the laws of your country or state, and you
are not on any applicable sanctions or restricted-party list; and
- your account has never been terminated by us for a violation of these Terms.
We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to hold an account. If we learn that an account
belongs to a minor, we will terminate it and delete the associated data.
3.What the service is
You upload one or more screenshots of a text conversation. Reply Hotter reads them, reconstructs
the conversation, and returns suggested replies at four heat levels — mild, medium, hot and
stupid. Each generation is called a round. Some plans also include Relationship
Mode ("The General"), which keeps context about one specific relationship so that suggestions
can account for it.
Reply Hotter is entertainment and communication assistance. It is not dating advice from
a professional, not relationship counselling, not therapy, not medical or mental-health care,
and not legal advice. Nothing it produces is a promise about how another person will react.
We may add, change, limit or remove features at any time, including heat levels, models, plan
allowances and Relationship Mode. Features described as beta, waitlisted or experimental may
change or disappear without notice.
4.Your account
You can sign in with Google or with an email address and password. You are responsible for
keeping your credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us
promptly at legal@replyhotter.com if you believe your
account has been accessed by someone else.
You agree to give accurate information and to keep it current. One person, one account —
don't create multiple accounts to get around free-round limits, plan allowances, referral
rewards or a suspension. Accounts are personal and non-transferable; don't sell, rent or share
yours.
Signed-in devices appear in Settings, where you can revoke any of them. Revoking a device signs
it out immediately.
5.Screenshots and other people's messages
The screenshots you upload almost always contain someone else's words. That places real
obligations on you, and this is the section we most want you to read.
By uploading anything to Reply Hotter, you represent and warrant that:
- you were a lawful participant in the conversation, or otherwise have the right to possess and
use the content;
- uploading it does not break any law that applies to you — including wiretapping, recording,
interception and communications-privacy laws, some of which require the consent of every party
to a conversation;
- it does not contain anyone's intimate images shared without their consent;
- it does not depict or involve a minor in any sexual, suggestive or exploitative way; and
- it does not infringe anyone's intellectual property or violate a contract or duty you owe
(for example a confidentiality agreement, or workplace communications you are not free to
share).
You keep ownership of your content. You grant Clarity Decoded a limited,
worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process, transmit and display your
content strictly for the purpose of operating the Service and generating your replies — for
example, sending the image to an AI model provider so it can be read. This licence exists so the
Service can function and for no other purpose.
Screenshot images are not stored after your round is generated unless you explicitly opt in
— either with the per-round research checkbox on the upload card, or with the standing
permission in Settings > Privacy. If you do opt in, you additionally grant us permission to
retain and internally review that submission to evaluate and improve the Service. You can
withdraw that permission at any time in Settings; withdrawing stops future retention.
The Privacy Policy explains exactly what is kept, and what is not.
6.Acceptable use
You agree not to use Reply Hotter to:
- harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate, coerce, defame, degrade or abuse anyone;
- contact a person who has asked you to stop contacting them, or to evade a block, a
restraining order or any similar boundary;
- produce or pursue sexual content involving anyone under 18, real or depicted;
- pressure, manipulate or deceive someone into sexual activity, or to disregard someone's
stated boundaries or lack of consent;
- impersonate another person, or misrepresent your identity, age or intentions in a way
designed to deceive;
- run romance scams, catfishing, phishing, fraud, extortion or any commercial or political
messaging operation;
- generate content that is unlawful, hateful toward a protected group, or that incites
violence;
- upload malware, probe or attack our infrastructure, bypass Turnstile or any other bot check,
or otherwise interfere with the Service or anyone else's use of it;
- scrape, crawl, mass-download, resell, sublicense or white-label the Service or its output;
- reverse engineer the Service, or use its output to train, fine-tune or evaluate a competing
AI model or product; or
- use automated means to create accounts or consume rounds, or otherwise abuse free rounds,
credits, referrals or promotions.
We may investigate suspected violations and take any action we consider appropriate, including
limiting features, suspending or terminating your account, and reporting conduct to law
enforcement where the law requires or permits it.
7.AI output and your judgment
Reply Hotter suggests. You send. Everything you send is yours — your words, your relationship,
your consequences.
Suggested replies are generated by artificial intelligence. AI output is probabilistic: the same
screenshot can produce different replies on different rounds, and the reconstruction of a
conversation from images can be wrong. Output may be inaccurate, tone-deaf, misjudged,
inappropriate for your situation, or offensive to the person who receives it.
Review every suggestion before you send it. You are solely responsible for what
you send, to whom, and for the outcome. We make no promise that any reply will produce any
particular response, date, relationship or result.
As between you and us, and subject to any third-party rights, we do not claim ownership of the
replies generated for you, and you may use them. Because AI models can produce similar output
for different people from similar inputs, we can't and don't guarantee that any suggestion is
unique to you or that you can claim exclusive rights in it.
The Service applies safety limits and may decline to generate for some inputs, or may ask for
more context before it will answer. Those limits are part of the Service, not a defect.
8.Plans, rounds and credits
A round is one generation of replies. Every account starts on the free tier.
Paid plans renew monthly and grant an allowance of rounds on a rolling 30-day window.
All prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax that may apply. Prices, allowances and plan
names may change; the plan page in Settings always shows the current terms, and a change to the
price of a plan you already hold takes effect only after we notify you, on your next renewal.
Usage credits. When a plan allowance runs out you can keep going with usage
credits, charged at $0.10 per round. Credits are sold in packs, and larger packs carry a bonus
(currently 15% on the $10 pack and 30% on the $20 pack). You can set a monthly spend limit and
an optional auto-reload in Settings > Billing.
Credits are a prepaid balance for using Reply Hotter. They have no cash value, are not a deposit
or stored-value instrument, are not transferable, do not earn interest, and are not redeemable
for cash except where the law requires it. Unused credits are forfeited if your account is
terminated for a violation of these Terms.
Free rounds, plan allowances and credits are for personal use by one person. Allowances that go
unused in a monthly window do not roll over.
9.Billing, renewal and cancellation
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card
number; Stripe handles card data under its own terms and security standards. By subscribing you
authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method.
Subscriptions renew automatically every month at the then-current price until
you cancel. The charge falls on the same day of each monthly cycle, and Settings shows your next
charge date.
You can cancel any time in Settings > Billing. Cancellation stops the next renewal; your plan
stays active, with its remaining allowance, through the end of the period you already paid for.
You can resume a cancelled plan before the period ends. Auto-reload of usage credits can be
switched off separately, in the same place.
If a payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend paid features until the balance is settled.
10.Refunds
Subscription fees and credit purchases are non-refundable except where the law
requires otherwise, and partial months are not prorated. The free tier exists so you can try the
Service before paying anything.
That said, we would rather be fair than technically correct. If you were charged in error, if
you were double-billed, or if the Service failed in a way that cost you rounds, write to
legal@replyhotter.com within 30 days and we'll look at
it. We may issue a refund or a credit at our discretion; doing so once doesn't obligate us to do
it again.
11.Referrals and promotional credit
You may receive a referral code to share. When a genuinely new person signs up with your code,
your account receives usage credit and the new account receives its free rounds. A referral can
be claimed once per new account, and you cannot refer yourself.
Referral and promotional credit is a courtesy, not a purchase. We may void credit, reverse
rewards and suspend accounts where we identify self-referral, duplicate or automated account
creation, or any other manipulation of the program, and we may change or end the program at any
time.
12.Intellectual property and trademarks
The Service — including its software, design, artwork, characters, prompts, copy and the flame
mark — is owned by Clarity Decoded and protected by copyright and other laws. Except for the
rights these Terms grant you, nothing here transfers any ownership to you.
Reply Hotter is a trademark of Clarity Decoded. The Reply Hotter name, flame
logo and related marks may not be used without our prior written permission.
We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the
Service for your own non-commercial use, in line with these Terms.
Feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions about the Service, we may use them
freely, without obligation or compensation to you.
Copyright complaints. If you believe something on Reply Hotter infringes your
copyright, write to legal@replyhotter.com with
identification of the work, the material at issue, your contact details, a statement of good-faith
belief that the use is unauthorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is
accurate and that you are authorized to act, and your signature. We terminate the accounts of
repeat infringers.
13.Third-party services
Reply Hotter runs on infrastructure and services we don't control, including Cloudflare
(hosting, storage and bot protection), Google (sign-in and the Gemini model family), OpenAI
(fallback models), Supabase (authentication) and Stripe (payments). Your use of the Service
involves those providers, and the Privacy Policy describes what reaches
each of them.
We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their acts and
omissions. Links to other sites are provided for convenience and are not an endorsement.
14.Suspension and termination
You can stop using Reply Hotter whenever you like, and you can delete your account in
Settings > Account. Deleting your account removes your account record, conversations and any
research submissions tied to it, as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if
we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. If we
terminate your account for convenience rather than for a breach, we will refund the unused
portion of any prepaid subscription period.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination — content licences already exercised,
intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification and dispute
resolution — survive.
15.Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. To the
fullest extent permitted by law, Clarity Decoded disclaims all warranties, express or implied,
including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and any
warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, that
generated replies will be accurate, appropriate or effective, or that any defect will be
corrected. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this
section may not apply to you.
16.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clarity Decoded will not be liable for any indirect,
incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits,
data, goodwill, relationships or reputation, arising out of or relating to your use of the
Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility.
Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the
amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one
hundred US dollars ($100).
These limits apply regardless of the legal theory and are a fundamental basis of the bargain
between us. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may
not apply to you.
17.Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Clarity Decoded and its owners, employees and
contractors from any claim, demand, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees)
arising from your content, your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your
violation of any law or of anyone's rights — including any claim brought by a person whose
messages appeared in a screenshot you uploaded.
18.Changes to the service and these terms
We may update these Terms. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date at the top of this
page, and for material changes we'll give reasonable notice — in the app, or by email to the
address on your account — before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change
takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you don't accept them, stop using the
Service and cancel any subscription.
19.Disputes, governing law and venue
Talk to us first. Most problems are faster to fix by email. Before filing
anything, please write to legal@replyhotter.com and
give us 30 days to resolve it with you.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States,
without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and Clarity Decoded agree that any dispute
arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the
state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and both of us consent
to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
To the extent permitted by law, you and Clarity Decoded each agree to bring claims only in an
individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or
representative action. Nothing here prevents either of us from seeking relief in a small-claims
court, or prevents you from reporting conduct to a government agency.
20.General terms
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you
and Clarity Decoded about the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in
force and the unenforceable part is limited to the minimum extent necessary. Our failure to
enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign this agreement; we may assign it in
connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Nothing here creates a partnership,
employment or agency relationship. We are not liable for failures caused by events outside our
reasonable control.
The Service is operated from the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, you do so on your
own initiative and are responsible for compliance with your local law.
